Printed in Phoenix, for Phoenix
Phoenix is the only city on our list with a Super Cheap Cards print hub inside it. Your postcards, door hangers and cards are printed about 24 miles from the center of town and go out by UPS Ground.
Shipping 2,500 6.5″ × 9″ EDDM postcards to ZIP 85004 costs $60.56. The builder on every product page shows the cost for your own ZIP.
Second on our EDDM ranking
Phoenix scored 70.1 out of 100 on our EDDM Route Value score, close behind Frisco, Texas. The score is our own yardstick for saturation mail, and it rewards cities with lots of owner mailboxes, lots of recent movers, newer homes and a short trip from the press.
Phoenix wins on volume and on that last point. The press is in town.
Phoenix in numbers
The Census Bureau's 2020-2024 survey estimates count 1,642,323 Phoenix residents in 610,442 households. Owners live in 350,001 of those homes, or 57.3%.
390,242 of the city's 653,065 housing units are single-family detached houses, 59.8%. The median home was built in 1985, and 181,858 units, 27.8%, date from 2000 or later.
New arrivals every month
14.5% of Phoenix residents lived in a different home a year earlier. That is 236,114 people, many of them new to the Valley, who have not yet picked a pest control company, a pool service or a dentist.
A route that you mail every few weeks reaches each new household soon after the moving truck leaves. A purchased list never catches up that fast.

Door hangers in the desert
Cooling, pool and pest companies in Phoenix hang thousands of door hangers every summer. Crews do best in the early morning, before the heat, and on the streets around a job they just finished.
5,000 4.25″ × 11″ door hangers cost $659. Our guide on door hangers or postcards helps you decide which one fits your next round.

A Phoenix mail calendar
Phoenix businesses tend to mail on the weather. Cooling companies push tune-ups in spring, before the first long heat wave, and emergency repair offers once summer arrives. Pest and pool companies follow with their own busy months.
Restaurants and salons do better with a steady rhythm instead, such as one route group every few weeks. That keeps a coupon in the house for the newcomers who arrive all year.
Whichever pattern fits you, lock in the dates first and count back from them. Corey can tell you how far ahead to order so the bundles are ready for the post office on time.
