Work orders that protect the shop
A signed estimate settles disagreements before they start. Carbonless NCR forms make a copy for the customer and one for your files with a single signature, no printer needed in the bay.
500 two-part 8.5″ × 11″ sets cost $199, 1,000 cost $279 and 2,500 cost $519. Three and four-part sets are available when the parts counter or the office needs its own copy, along with numbering and padding.
Customers come from a few miles away
Most drivers take their car somewhere close to home or work. The routes around the shop are where your next regular customers live.
Every Door Direct Mail puts a piece in every mailbox along those routes, no list required. Choose them on the USPS map, and the carrier delivers your postcard to each home.
A postcard built around one service
Lead with one clear offer, such as an oil change price, a free brake check or a seasonal inspection. Drivers decide in seconds, so the offer, the address and the phone number should be the largest things on the card.
A 6.5″ × 9″ card costs $359 for 2,500 and $779 for 10,000. The 4.25″ × 11″ card is the lower-cost option at $309 for 2,500.
Mail around the seasons
Car care follows the calendar. Tires and batteries before winter, air conditioning before summer and a check before holiday road trips all give a mailing a natural reason to arrive.
Plan each drop a week or two ahead of the season. Call 512-573-1977 with your dates and Corey will tell you when to order.
Cards in every glove box
Hand a business card back with every set of keys. When the next problem comes up, the card is already in the car.
Thick 16pt cards cost $69 for 2,500. Print a maintenance reminder on the back, such as a space to write the next service mileage.
Keep a stack at the service counter and in every customer car you return, so the card is in the glove box the next time a warning light comes on.
Fleet and business customers
Local businesses with vans and trucks need a shop they can count on. A folded EDDM mailer introducing a fleet service plan, sent to the commercial routes near the shop, reaches them directly.
Carbonless work orders with your shop details make fleet billing easier, since each driver signs and keeps a copy.
Winning back customers who drifted
A customer who has not been in for a year may simply have forgotten. A reminder postcard with a service offer, sent to past customers by addressed mail, often brings them back.
For the wider neighborhood, use EDDM postcards instead. Compare runs on the price list to find the size that fits your budget.
Earning trust with first-time customers
Many drivers worry about being overcharged at a new shop. Say clearly on every piece what you offer, such as free estimates or written approval before any work, and show the shop and the team in a real photo.
Only print promises that match how the shop really works. The same message on the mailer, the banner and the work order tells customers you mean it, and a 6.5″ × 9″ EDDM postcard with that message costs $359 for 2,500.
